You have different experiences than I have. I have never seen Development Teams that can do without the help of a Scrum Master.

Every remark you make questions Scrum. I believe Scrum is used more often than it should be used. Bandwagon effect. Obviously you have been using Scrum where it didn’t fit. Best to ditch it then.
