Thanks for writing the article. It’s a good read. That said I don’t see the arguments you bring forwards to drop Scrum. To take a few:

• Scrum allows you to add or remove items during the Sprint. No need to re-plan

• It’s always good practice to work on 1 item at a time. Scrum doesn’t say you should work on more.
